SWIM GROUPS

PRE-TEAM  1.0( FITNESS)
Is our pre-competitive group for children between the ages of 5 -13. It requires a commitment of 2 practices a week. The program is designed as a transitional introduction into the world of competitive swimming.  This group will concentrate on the fundamentals of competitive swimming (rules and regulations), technique and stroke development with an introduction to endurance training in a fun and dynamic environment. Usually the first step for swimmers that graduate our TS Aquatics Swim School.

PRE-TEAM  1.5 (PRETEAM 1.0)
This is the first phase of our intermediate program for swimmers between the ages of 5-13. Focus is on continuation of stroke development with more advanced endurance training.  Practices are held 3 days a week for 60 minute training sessions.  Dryland training is introduced 2 to 3 days per week.

PRE-TEAM  2.0

This is a level introduced as a bridge between Pre-Team and Age Group for ages 5-13.  Continued focus on stroke development with an increase in commitment and endurance training.  Practices are held four days a week for 60 to 90 minute training sessions. Dryland training is introduced 2 to 3 days per week.

AGE-GROUP 1.0

Age Group 1.0 continues a focus on stroke development with an increase in commitment and endurance training. Considered a Pre -Junior Olympic Championship group high attendance levels are expected to ensure advancement to the next level. Goal setting and attaining high levels of competition are strongly encouraged at this level. Swimmers train 4 to 6 times a week, along with three dry land sessions, and practices are between 90 to 120 minutes in duration.

AGE-GROUP 2.0
Age Group 2.0  swimmers need to show a commitment and desire to reach  Junior Olympic Championship meets. Practice is offered five to eight times a week, when possible, up to two and a half hours in length. For ages 11-15 with considerable swimming experience. Goal setting and attaining high levels of competition are strongly encouraged at this level. Swimmers train 4 to 6 times a week, along with three dry land sessions, and are between 90 to 120 minutes in duration

 SENIOR TEAM 1.0
This group is designed for High School age swimmers. Senior 1.0  swimmers need to show a commitment and desire to reach Regional and/or State level championship meets. Practice if offered 5 to 8 times a week, when possible, up to two and a half hours in length. For ages eleven and older with considerable swimming experience Practice sessions range from two to four hours, five to nine times a week with additional dry land AND weight training.

SENIOR TEAM  2.0 

This training group is made up of our top competitors, ages 15+, who have demonstrated advanced commitment to the sport of swimming.  Main focus of this group is Sectional, National and International levels of competitions. Swimmers train 7 to 8 practices a week with additional dry land and weight training. Sessions range from two to four hours. Basic Nutrition is also added to this group’s education.

International Swimmers  1.0 ( EN ESPANOL)

This program is aimed at athletes from other countries who want to train under a program with major international and global expectations, which can be adapted to the needs of the swimmer according to the organization of which their country belongs. Always with a view of maximum level of World swimming such as the FINA World Championships and the Olympics. At Tamarac, we have a group of highly experienced coaches with knowledge of high performance swimming and the latest global trends around the high-intensity workouts for achieving these objectives. Among the experience of our coaches are swimmers of CONSANAT Championships, CCCAN, CAMEX, CISC, CARIFTA, PASO UANA and FINA. Our facilities and program has everything you need  within practice sessions, mornings and afternoonss, water, gym, fitness and work that links in and out of the water.  Our coaches have experience in the world of swimming, both locally and globally including important certifications in the United States.  With significant results within the previously mentioned events of different organizations swimming in this continent and the world. The invitation is addressed to all those athletes who wish to pursue great results both locally and internationally, under the philosophy of an organized and tested staff in the past with world-class athletes.  You can achieve these goals in a timely manner with our scope of scientific and physiological planning and your HARD WORK.
